Last Tuesday I learned that instead of getting into a wild weekend tourists crowd, it is better to go to Chocholowska Valley for a one-day walk on a business day: not only are there far fewer tourists thus you don't need to get up that early to get a reasonable parking space, but you can also hunt the perfect weather day. I also confirmed again that the Tatra Mountains are beautiful, even when you are staying in the valley and not reaching the summits
Here is the route map and altitude profile. This is nothing new for me as I hiked the same route a year ago, but it is the location you want to come every spring. And you know what? I'll come here again the next year as well.
